The picture shop closed due to retirement early in 2009, Atwell & Yardley Memorials opened the first week in April 2009.

Roadworks continue in Gravelly Lane.
New shop opens to replace old Picture shop
I really hope that you will pick this up again, Kevin, because it is the beginning of a great opportunity to document your community from your perspective during these changing and turbulent times. You have quite a knack for photography in capturing the flavor and scope of the landmarks around you....if you dont take up this standard and carry it no one will and this segment of local history will be lost.Also thaks for your isit and comment on my blog... Hope you will visit often....
